Antipyretics for children are prescribed by a pediatrician. But there are emergency situations for fever when the child needs to be given medicine immediately. Then the parents take responsibility and use antipyretic drugs. What is allowed to give to infants? How can you bring down the temperature in older children? What medicines are the safest?

The method of encoding information using a sequence of bytes is called a format. A graphic format is a way of recording graphic information. All graphic formats are divided into raster and vector.

Raster format characterized by the fact that the entire image is divided vertically and horizontally into fairly small rectangles - the so-called picture elements, or pixels (from the English pixel - picture element).

The process of dividing a color into its constituent components is called color model. Three color models are used in computer graphics: RGB, CMYK and HSB.

The most common color coding method is the RGB model. With this coding method, any color is represented as a combination of three colors: red (Red), green (Green) and blue (Blue), taken with different intensities. The intensity of each of the three colors is one byte (i.e. a number between 0 and 255).

AT vector format the picture is presented as a combination of simple geometric shapes - points, segments of straight lines and curves, circles, rectangles, etc. In this case, for a complete description of the picture, you need to know the type and basic coordinates of each figure, for example, the coordinates of the two ends of the segment, the coordinates of the center and the diameter of the circle etc.

This coding method is ideal for drawings that are easy to represent as a combination of simple shapes, such as technical drawings. At vector graphics many merits. It is economical in terms of disk space required for storing images: this is due to the fact that it is not the image itself that is saved, but only some basic data, using which the program recreates the image every time.

In addition, the description of color characteristics almost does not increase the file size. Vector graphics objects are easily transformed and modified, which has almost no effect on image quality. Scaling, rotation, warping can be reduced to elementary transformations over vectors.

Graphic editors designed to work with bitmaps, are called raster editors. The most common editors are Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Paint, which is part of Windows.

Designed for working with vector images vector editors. Among them are Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, 3-D Max and others.

1.1. Materials for classroom and extracurricular work

In the disciplines of the Department of Humanities and Natural Sciences, materials for classroom work are developed taking into account the fact that all classes in the credit system are conducted using traditional and interactive forms of education. They should regulate the conduct of different types of classes and the performance of rating tasks in the discipline.

Short course(abstracts) of lectures include materials curriculum(syllabus), containing the optimal amount of necessary information, providing both an understanding of the disciplines as a whole and an idea of the objects under study. The content of the lecture course should reflect modern scientific achievements and prospects for the development of science.

When developing guidelines for the implementation of seminars (practical) classes, laboratory, various types of handouts in the disciplines of the department, they take into account that the materials of practical and seminar classes are aimed at repeating and consolidating the material of the lecture course, as well as at acquiring additional knowledge in sections of the discipline that were not included in consideration of the lecture course.

Independent work of a student according to the credit system is divided into two types: (SIW) - classroom work of a student under the guidance of a teacher, indicated in the schedule and included in the teaching load of a teacher and SWS - independent work of a student, i.e. extracurricular work of a student in a library, Internet class, etc. Independent work is an important factor in improving the quality of education, affecting the depth and strength of the knowledge, skills and competencies acquired by students. It contributes to the development in students of the need for self-education and self-development.

Materials for independent work of students include questions that make up the content of the state component of the model curriculum, recommended for independent consideration by students. Questions for independent work (TSIS) (ISW) should complement and deepen the content of the course being studied. Tasks should include the main questions of the topics submitted for self-study by students, indicating the forms and timing of the control.

The calculation of the number of tasks should be carried out in accordance with the developed standards for calculating teaching hours of teaching staff on credit technology, approved by the Academic Council of the university, and also take into account the number of loans allocated for the study of the discipline.

1.2. Materials for knowledge control

Materials for the control of students' knowledge are developed in accordance with the uniform principles and rules of knowledge control. Tasks for ongoing monitoring carried out as part of practical exercises and SIWT may include oral and written questions, test tasks, etc.

The examination material (oral questions, tests) must correspond to the standard and working programs for the discipline and reflect its main content, including the material of the SIW assignments. Exam materials are developed by the lecturer, discussed and approved by the decision of the department.

The TMC includes a list of references (basic and additional), reflecting the range of questions necessary for the student to prepare and pass the current and final forms of knowledge control, as well as to complete the tasks of the SIW. The list of literature recommended for all types of students' work contains the necessary optimal number of titles, which provides a complete coverage of the content of the discipline at the modern scientific and methodological levels.

In credit technology, interactive learning is of particular importance. In the classroom hour, regardless of whether it is a lecture or a seminar, SIWT should be used along with traditional methods and interactive forms of conducting classes. Interactive learning develops students' abilities:

Form your own opinion and express it;

· Respect other people's opinions;

· Carefully study the training material;

Develop a creative approach to the implementation of the material;

· Speak in front of a large audience and argue your point of view;

Analyze the received information;

· To develop skills of independent and fruitful work; Be able to show your individuality;

Enrich life experience by staging various situations.

Overview of interactive forms and teaching methods

Debate is an oral exchange of students' opinions in order to find the right answers and conclusions.

Discussion (discussion) - an exchange of opinions between students on the topic under study. The participation of students in the discussion is the key to mastering and retaining knowledge in memory. Discussion is an effective way to involve students in the learning process.

Role-playing game- a multifaceted way of learning that ensures active participation, involvement, experimentation and discovery in the learning process.

"Aquarium" - a way to study the behavior of a group by dividing into teams. One of the teams discusses or solves the problem, while the other team investigates and records the process itself. The results are discussed before fixed rules are derived.

Group briefing - the teacher gives key facts or "highlights of the topic", on the basis of which questions and answers are further formed for the lesson.

Group discussion - after the lecture, the audience is divided into groups for discussion and exchange of opinions, views, questions and conclusions through group leaders with the entire audience.

Case - method is an educational method that helps students think effectively. The group is presented with factual information based on the real situation, is invited to discuss the problems, analyze the situation and make recommendations. Cases can be expressed in many ways. They can be long and fully describe the situation, or they can be short and ornate, in any case, their purpose remains the same - to serve as a reason for students to come to some conclusions based on the facts presented.

Presentation- a teaching method in which the student can choose any topic for his presentation and express his understanding or lack of understanding of any aspect of the problem under consideration. Presentation time - 8-10 minutes. The presentation is evaluated according to the following criteria: how fully the topic is disclosed, whether this problem aroused the interest of others, how professionally the student approached the problem under consideration.

Handling a Critical Situation- the critical situation method is one of the forms of the research method. The method is aimed at modeling a more realistic situation, when a group of students is given basic information on a critical situation and then given the opportunity to independently ask questions and demand information that they consider necessary. The method is effectively used when it is necessary to define a problem.

Error detection method- students receive homework read the content of the upcoming lecture. The teacher works through the educational material, making changes, erroneous data. In the process of reading lectures by the teacher, students should find errors. This method allows students to develop critical listening skills, to concentrate their attention throughout the lesson.

"Brainstorm"- the simplest and most effective method of interactive learning that develops creative thinking, teaches the skills of identifying problems, building a team. It is a way for the group to concentrate the most creative ideas, and the participants suggest ways to further implement them.

"Round Table Method"- a quick verbal check that allows everyone to say something, for example, "I learned three things today", "I learned about the subject ...", etc.

Quiet reflection - usually with written comments, perhaps with questions on the board or on paper.

Group reflection - ask small groups to review the topic covered and share with everyone else.

Reflective interviews - open or with questions and structure set out by the trainer, in pairs.

Drafting a letter a method aimed at mastering certain material, where a keyword is highlighted and a letter is drawn up from it in the form of a diagram that reveals the essence of the selected keyword.

o Formulating a concept, writing a short essay - 1 - 1.5 pages.

o Review on the topic - write a short literary review (essay) on the recommended topic, using additional material from the press and information resources of the Internet.

o Writing a glossary - a brief explanation of terms and concepts on a given topic, you can use a crossword puzzle.

o Presentation - the choice by the student of a specific topic for presentation and the expression of his vision, understanding or misunderstanding of any aspect considered in the presentation. The presentation time is 8-10 minutes, the presentation is evaluated according to the criterion of the degree of disclosure of the topic, the degree of interest caused by the audience, and professionalism.

o Business game - role-playing or team game, developing skills and abilities for future professional activity.

o Group project - there should be no more than 4-5 people in the group, each group develops its own project, defends it.

Overview of Traditional Methods

abstract is a summary in writing or in the form of a public report of the content of a scientific work or works of specialists on a chosen topic, a review of the literature of a certain direction. Such a review should give the reader an idea of the current state of knowledge of a particular scientific problem, including a comparison of experts' points of view, and be accompanied by their own assessment of their reliability and persuasiveness.

The task of the abstract is to summarize what others have achieved, to independently present the problem on the basis of facts gleaned from the literature.

As can be seen from the foregoing, the abstract is not a simple retelling of what has been read, but a serious work that requires a fairly thorough preparedness of the author. Recall that along with the main task of familiarizing with the works of scientists, the abstract sets no less important educational and methodological goals inherent in scientific work. This is a deliberate choice of topic, bibliographic search, selection and analysis of facts, provisions and conclusions contained in the scientific literature, their grouping, a logical presentation in accordance with the plan and the author's own assessment of the abstract, compiling a reference apparatus (footnotes and a list of references) and designing all text. Working on an essay, the student gets the opportunity to acquire the skills of analyzing scientific literature, master the methodology of scientific research and the basics of preparing a written work. Writing an essay on a chosen scientific topic, of course, contributes to a deeper acquaintance with the materials related to the corresponding historical period, contributes to the mastery of a number of useful skills, in particular, the ability to work independently with a book, helps to identify interest and determine the range of possible further scientific studies.

The volume of the abstract is 20-30 pages.

Abstract- a systematic, logically connected record of the content of the material being read, combining a plan, extracts, abstracts, or at least two of these types of record.

Unlike extracts and abstracts, the abstract reveals the content in the sequence of presentation in which it is offered in a readable source.

The most important and essential information is selected for compiling a summary.

The main provisions are highlighted, important words, combinations are underlined. Each new thought starts on a new line. The abstract should indicate the name of the author, the name of the source, place, time of publication, pages.

Working with primary sources:

Separate one thought from another, write them down in the form of theses;

Write down a few basic categories and concepts, broadly

Used in pedagogy, find out which ones are used in other sciences;

When finished, write down all the source data.

Corel Draw traditionally popular with PC users and staunchly hated by service bureau operators. This is due to the fact that the developers decided to embrace the immensity and connect everything possible ways processing any information used for completely different purposes in one package - what is worth the mere ability to import AVI files ... Corel Draw is just a wonderful program when the ultimate goal of its work is an image on the screen, but problems appear when outputting to phototypesetting, since many of its features cannot be described in PostScript. Many errors do not appear in any way when creating a publication and become visible only at the stage of output or export to EPS, i.e. when all the work already done therefore, to obtain a good result, one must very carefully use the rich possibilities of this peculiar program.

Vector graphics editors Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Freehand for quite a long time (until 1995) remained the means to work on Macintosh computers. Their development on the IBM PC platform lagged behind the necessary requirements, so this platform has historically had the advantage of the CorelDraw editor, especially in Russia, where, unlike other countries, the development of the IBM PC platform is significantly ahead of the Macintosh platform. The situation is now leveling off. Both Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Freehand have powerful and reliable versions for the IBM PC, and CorelDraw is slowly declining in popularity.

To the benefits This editor includes a developed management system and a wealth of tool customization tools. The most complex compositions, close to works of art, are obtained by means of this particular editor, although you have to pay for the wealth of possibilities. In CorelDraw, the control system is more complicated than in other vector editors, and the interface is not as intuitive. Learning CorelDraw is more of a challenge than learning Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand.

On the other hand, CorelDraw's strengths are a direct consequence of its weaknesses. The desire of developers to create a program "for everyone" forced to lay in it huge opportunities for very little money. The only thing that is really missing is a small panel asking what beginning the user deigns to engage in - Web design, print a sales chart on a PCL printer or prepare a publication for output to the FNA. And so that in the latter case, all the features that can cause problems are turned off ...

To the undeniable advantages of Corel Draw It should be attributed to its high speed and incomparable ease of operation. In terms of speed: even on powerful computers (hundreds of MB of RAM with full caching, HDD Ulta Wide SCSI, fast video card, frequency over 400 MHz) Illustrator slows down mercilessly (under NT it is smaller, under 9x more, in comparison with works of similar complexity) and Corel Draw runs briskly and on much weaker machines. The convenience of working with programs is estimated, first of all, by the number of actions that can be performed without climbing into the jungle of menus and palettes. By simply selecting an object, it can be proportionally / disproportionately resized, skewed, rotated, mirrored, duplicated, and all this without the need to select individual tools; when you click the right mouse button, a context menu appears that allows you to select processing specific to this object. Both positioning and alignment are extremely convenient, the work with individual points in the curve is excellently done. There is simply an indispensable feature - Corel Draw from the sixth version allows you to independently set your own hot keys for any action (in addition to the standard set) and customize all menus and palettes to the needs of a particular user. This makes a lot of sense, because different work, like designing a label by an artist and then checking it out at a service bureau, uses different tools and at different frequencies, so it makes sense for everyone to customize the app to suit them, not the programmers. Also, in the seventh version, an object manager appeared, which makes it possible to tremendously speed up the process of checking work. Corel Draw has no competitors here. But, unfortunately, in this case, a spoonful of honey is diluted with a fair barrel of tar.

Working versions of Corel Draw - 5 F2, 6.169 , 7.375, 8.433.

If you have Corel Draw 7.373 (which was sold licensed ), then either update it to 7.375, or don't use it at all - the errors there do not allow you to use the program for work. It has very serious problems, including color separations, which absolutely do not appear at all at the stage of creating a publication, but very clearly open when all the work is already completed and brought to the service bureau for withdrawal.

If you want to use Corel Draw 9, better wait for the next update. Version 9 contains suspiciously few bugs and works quite stably, but this is not yet a reason for optimism. In general, a workable version of Corel Draw is the last before the release of a new version.

It is used to create drawings, as well as graphic objects (drawings, diagrams, etc.), for which the preservation of clear and distinct contours is important. Vector images are formed from objects - graphic primitives (point, line, circle, rectangle, etc.), which are stored in the computer's memory in the form of mathematical formulas that describe them. For example, a graphic primitive point is specified by its coordinates (X, Y), a line - by the coordinates of the beginning (XI, Y1) and end (X2, Y2), a circle - by the coordinates of the center (X, Y) and a radius (R), a rectangle - by the coordinates of the left upper corner (XI, Y1) and lower right corner (X2, Y2), etc. A color is also set for each primitive. Dignity vector graphics is that the files that store vector graphics are relatively small. Vector graphics can be enlarged or reduced without loss of quality. This is possible, since images are scaled using simple mathematical operations (multiplying the parameters of graphic primitives by the scaling factor).

Drawing using vector graphics editors.

A vector graphics editor can be viewed as a graphic designer that allows you to create drawings from individual objects (lines, rectangles, polygons, circles, etc.) - Objects can also be three-dimensional (balls, cubes and parallelepipeds, pyramids, etc.). In vector editors, you can create text areas in which text is entered and formatted. In addition, callouts of various shapes can be used to enter captions for figures. Vector drawing is easy to edit, since each graphic primitive can exist as an independent an object , which can be moved without loss of image quality, its size, color and transparency can be changed. In the vector editor, objects are selected using a tool (shown as an arrow on the toolbar).

To select an object, just select this tool and click on any object in the picture. Around the selected object, eight marks will appear in the form of small squares along its perimeter. If you place the mouse pointer on such a label, it will take the form of an arrow pointing in two opposite directions.

By dragging the label, you can change the size of the object. To move an object, place the mouse pointer inside the selected area (it will take the form of an arrow pointing "to all four sides") and drag the object. A simple vector graphics editor OpenOffice Draw is part of an integrated office application openoffice, a handy vector editor is built into text editor Microsoft Word.

visibility of objects.

Each graphic primitive is drawn on its own layer, so drawings consist of many layers. Graphic primitives can be superimposed on each other, while some objects can obscure others. For example, if a rectangle was drawn first, and then a circle was drawn on top of it, then the circle layer will be placed on top of the rectangle layer and the circle will obscure the rectangle. It is possible to change the visibility of objects by changing the order in which their layers are placed in the drawing. To do this, reorder operations are used, which allow you to move the selected object to the front (the topmost layer of the picture) or to the back (the bottommost layer of the picture), as well as one layer forward or backward.

Filling objects.

In vector editors, it is possible to fill objects with a selected color (including gradient). With a gradient fill, the shading intensity can vary along the length, width, or from the center of the object. In addition, objects can be shaded in various ways (lines, squares, etc.).

Transparency of objects.

For each object (drawing layer), you can set the degree of transparency (as a percentage from 0 to 100). With zero transparency, the object drawn on the underlying layer will not be visible. On the contrary, with 100% transparency, it will be completely visible.

Grouping of objects.

Separate graphic primitives can be converted into a single object (grouped). With this new object, you can perform the same actions as with graphic primitives, i.e., move, change size, color, and other parameters. You can, and vice versa, split an object consisting of several objects into independent objects (ungroup).

Alignment of objects.

For greater accuracy in drawing objects in the editor window, rulers with divisions are placed horizontally and vertically. To align the drawn objects horizontally and vertically, a grid is used, to which objects are attached. The accuracy of object snapping can be changed by changing the grid cell size.

Computer drawing systems.

Computer drawing systems are vector graphics editors designed to create drawings. In classical drawing with a pencil, ruler and compass, drawing elements (line segments, circles and rectangles) are constructed with the accuracy provided by drawing tools. The use of computer drafting systems allows you to create drawings with much greater accuracy. In addition, computer drawing systems make it possible to measure distances, angles, perimeters and areas of drawn objects. Spatial relationships between real objects (the position and orientation of objects in space and their sizes) are studied in the geometry course. An important place in the school course of geometry is occupied by geometric constructions using a ruler and a compass. To create geometric models on a computer, it is convenient to use computer drawing systems. Computer drawing systems can be used in the school course of technology, as they allow you to create drawings of parts, including three-dimensional ones. Such systems allow you to competently draw up a drawing: mark the dimensions of the parts on it and make superscripts in accordance with existing standards. Computer drafting systems are used as a tool for automatic design in production, as they provide the ability to implement end-to-end technology for designing and manufacturing parts. On the basis of computer drawings, control programs for machine tools with numerical control (CNC) are generated; as a result, high-precision parts from metal, plastic, wood and other materials can be manufactured from computer drawings. The KOMPAS computer drawing system is specially designed for teaching computer drawing in schools. KOMPAS can be used to perform geometric constructions using a compass and ruler, as well as to create part drawings.

Vector graphic file formats.

The most widely used vector graphics file format is the WMF format, which is used to store the Microsoft Clip Gallery collection of graphics. Some imaging programs use original formats that are only recognized by the creator program itself. For example, the OpenOffice Draw vector editor saves files in its own ODG format, the KOMPAS computer drawing system saves files in the FRM format, and the Macromedia Flash vector flash graphics system saves files in the specialized FLA format.

Flash animation.

Computer animation uses fast-paced frames (as is done in movies), which the human eye perceives as continuous movement. The more frames change in one second (24 frames per second are replaced in cinema), the more complete the illusion of movement appears in a person. Flash animation is based on the use of vector graphics and is a sequence of vector drawings(frames). The frame is built using a set of vector graphic objects (straight and arbitrary lines, circles and rectangles), for each of which you can set the size, color of lines and fills, and other parameters. The advantage of Flash animation is that there is no need to draw every frame. It is enough to draw keyframes and set the type of transition between them (free transform, transform with rotation, transform with reflection, etc.). The Flash animation editor will automatically build intermediate frames. If there are a lot of intermediate frames, then the animation is smooth, and if there are few, then it is fast. While viewing a flash animation, vector frames appear sequentially on the screen monitor which creates the illusion of movement. When creating a flash animation, you can set the number of frames per second, the higher it is, the better the quality of the animation. The advantage of flash animation is the small amount of information files, and therefore it is widely used on Web sites on the Internet. Flash animation is developed using the Macromedia Flash vector graphics system.

Advantages of the vector way of describing graphics over raster

The benefits of vector graphics include:

Ease of use;

Small size of the final file (the size occupied by the descriptive part does not depend on the actual size of the object, which makes it possible to describe an arbitrarily large object with a file of the minimum size);

Insignificant demands on computer resources (RAM, processor speed, video card and other systems);

Preservation of file size and image quality during any scaling operations. Due to the fact that information about an object is stored in a descriptive form, you can increase the graphic primitive indefinitely, and it will remain smooth. This also means that moving, rotating, filling, etc. do not degrade the quality of the picture;

When enlarging or reducing objects, the thickness of the lines can be set to a constant value, regardless of the actual outline.

Raster images do not scale well, while vector images can be scaled up indefinitely without loss of quality (Figure 8.2).

Disadvantages of vector graphics

The following disadvantages of vector graphics can be noted:

Not every object can be easily drawn in vector form - similar to the original image, a very large number of objects with high complexity may be required, which negatively affects the amount of memory occupied by the image and the time for its processing and display;

Creating complex images using vector graphics is associated with the use of many graphic primitives, which complicates many operations performed on the image as a whole (for example, changing the brightness as a whole requires changing the hue of each primitive separately);

Converting vector graphics to raster is quite simple. The reverse path is only possible for a very limited number of images and requires additional processing.

Vector graphics are ideal for simple or composite drawings that need to be device independent or don't need photorealism. For example, PostScript and PDF use a vector graphics model.

At the same time, not every image can be represented as a set of primitives. This presentation method is good for diagrams, is used for scalable fonts, business graphics, is very widely used for creating cartoons and just videos of various content.

Vector graphic editors, graphic format concept

To create and edit vector images, special programs are used - vector graphics editors.

free software: Inkscape, Hut Xtreme, Seribus and etc. proprietary software: CorelDRAW , Adobe Illustrator , Adobe Fireworks, etc.

Graphic editors, as a rule, support universal graphic formats, and also have their own internal formats.

Graphic Format is a way of recording graphic information. Graphic file formats are designed for storing images such as photographs and drawings.

Graphic formats are divided into vector and raster.

Vector graphic formats (two-dimensional)

AI (Adobe Illustrator) is a vector format for storing graphic information, is proprietary. Developed by the company Adobe

Systems to present one-page vector images in EPS or PDF format. When saved in the program Adobe Illustrator file is assigned the .ai extension.

CDR (Corel DRaw ) – format of projects created in a graphical editor CorelDRAW, containing vector images and (or) bitmap drawings.

SMX(from English. corel Metafile eXchange) metafile format that stores raster and vector data, as well as the full range of PANTONE, RGB, and CMYK colors. CMX files can be opened and edited in other applications Corel.

CGM(from English. computer Graphics Metafile) open format and international standard for storing and exchanging graphic data (2D vector and raster graphics and text). CGM provides graphics interchange tools for computers, enabling 2D graphics to be used regardless of the specific platform, system, application, or device.

GXL(English) graph eXchange Language) is designed to be a standard exchange format for graphic data. GXL is Extensible Markup Language (XML). This format offers an adaptable and flexible means to support interoperability between graphics programs.

SWF(English) shock wave Flash or small web format) proprietary video format for flash animation, vector graphics, video, and audio on the Internet. The image saved in this format is scaled without visible distortion, the video is small, there is more fast loading video file and its playback.

  • color space is a color representation model based on the use of color coordinates. The color space is built in such a way that any color is represented by a point having certain coordinates.
  • Flash technologies, or interactive web animation technologies, have been developed by Macromedia and combined many powerful technological solutions in the field of multimedia presentation of information. Focus on vector graphics as the main development tool flash-programs allowed to implement all the basic elements of multimedia: movement, sound and interactivity of objects. At the same time, the size of the resulting programs is minimal, and the result of their work does not depend on the user's screen resolution - and these are one of the main requirements for Internet projects.
